Main raw materials

The main raw materials for five layer co extruded heat shrinkable packaging film include LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), TPP (ternary copolymer polypropylene), PPC (binary copolymer polypropylene), and necessary functional additives such as lubricants, anti adhesives, anti-static agents, etc. These raw materials are environmentally friendly and non-toxic, and will not produce toxic gases or odors during processing and product application. The product's hygiene performance meets the standards of the US FDA and USDA, and can be used for packaging food.

Production process

The five layer co extruded heat shrink packaging film is mainly made of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and copolymer polypropylene (TPP, PPC) as raw materials, with necessary additives added, and processed by co extrusion blow molding process. Its process is different from traditional blow molding process. Due to the poor tensile performance of PP melt state, traditional blow molding process cannot be used, and double film bubble process, also known as Prandi process internationally, is adopted. It is a process of melting and extruding raw materials through different extruders, forming an initial film through a specially designed co extrusion die, quenching, and then heating and expanding and stretching again to produce products.

Five layer co extruded heat shrink film can be produced in various specifications according to its application, with a general thickness range of 12 μ m to 30 μ m. Commonly used thicknesses include 12 μ m, 15 μ m, 19 μ m, 25 μ m, etc. The width specification depends on the volume of the packaging material.
cold resistance
The five layer co extruded heat shrinkable packaging film remains soft and does not crack at -50 ℃, making it suitable for storage and transportation of packaged materials in cold environments.

The annual demand is about 2%? 50000 to 30000 tons. PVC heat shrink film still occupies a considerable market share in heat shrink packaging, with enormous development potential. With the integration of China's accession to the WTO with the international market, the gradual increase in packaging requirements for a large number of exported goods, and the rapid development of domestic supermarkets, the application of three-layer co extruded heat shrink packaging film will rapidly increase.
