Fabric is an essential material in clothing, home textiles, home decoration, and other fields. There are many types of fabrics on the market, which can be roughly divided into two categories: chemical textile fibers and natural textile fibers. Common fabric categories include cotton, linen, silk, woolen fabrics, synthetic fibers, etc. There are also many different types of fabrics under each category.
Common fabric materials
1. Cotton fabric (cotton fabric)
Pure cotton (pure cotton fabric) flat fabric is woven using plain weave organization, and the thread density of its warp and weft yarns is the same or similar to that of the warp and weft yarns. Divided into coarse flat cloth, medium flat cloth, and fine flat cloth.
Coarse flat fabric: The fabric body is rough and thick, with a lot of cotton knots and impurities on the surface, making it sturdy and durable.
Medium flat fabric: The structure is relatively tight, the fabric surface is flat and full, the texture is firm, and the hand feel is relatively hard.
Fine flat fabric: The fabric body is fine, clean, and soft, with a lightweight and compact texture, and less impurities on the surface.
