On August 29th, the second globally leading 8.7-meter multi-layer co extruded film material production line of Furong New Materials Co., Ltd. Chengdu base was officially put into operation. This is not only Furong Group's 19th production line nationwide, but also another breakthrough achieved by Sichuan Furong New Materials in just one year after the first production line was put into operation in June 2024.
The newly put into production line this time is an 8.7-meter equipment from Bruckner, Germany, which is at the forefront of width and efficiency in the industry - the fastest production speed can reach 600 meters per minute, and the cutting speed can reach up to 1500 meters per minute. What is more noteworthy is the intelligent support behind it. The technical leader of the enterprise introduced: "We have not only introduced advanced production lines, but also a set of intelligent systems." Currently, the workshop has achieved real-time monitoring of the flow rate of thermal oil and water circulation in the central intelligent control room, online defect detection equipment automatically captures product defects, and recyclable granulators reuse waste materials to reduce losses, covering the entire production process with intelligence.
Adequate orders provide a solid guarantee for the new production line to operate at full capacity. The sales manager of Sichuan Furong New Materials revealed that the company currently holds over 6000 tons of orders. The BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) and BOPE (biaxially oriented polyethylene) films produced by it are widely used in food, pharmaceutical, daily necessities, and new energy material packaging due to their lightweight and environmentally friendly advantages. Famous brands such as Dali Garden, Three Squirrels, Nongfu Spring, and L'Oreal are its long-term partners.
The expansion of the production line will significantly increase production capacity and revenue scale. Data shows that in the first half of this year, Sichuan Furong New Materials has produced 15000 tons of film. After the second production line is put into operation, the annual production capacity will double, and it is expected that the annual revenue will exceed 700 million yuan. This breakthrough further solidifies Furong New Materials' leading position as the world's largest producer of polyolefin film materials.
