Tetrafluoroethylene nonwoven substrate film material
The composition of ETFE membrane material is ethylene tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, which is a transparent membrane material without fabric substrate, and its elongation can reach 420% to 440%. The transmittance spectrum of ETFE film material is similar to that of glass (commonly known as soft glass).

DESCRIPTION
Suitable for building roofs or walls that require sufficient indoor sunlight. ETFE membrane materials allow for significant elastic deformation, but creep extension may occur, making them unsuitable for use as spatial membrane surfaces in tensile structural systems with resistance requirements.
It has lightweight and excellent transparency, weighing about 1/100 of the same size glass panel, and can be used as roofs and walls in buildings that require transparency.
Key points for selection
(1) The transmittance spectra of ETFE film material and glass are basically the same, with high ultraviolet transmittance and visible light transmittance greater than 95%. Light and ultraviolet transmittance can be adjusted and controlled by printing shading film on the surface and changing the film thickness, with a transmittance controlled between 50% and 96%.
(2) The allowable temperature for long-term use is -200 to 150 ℃.
(3) After reaching the melting point in a fire environment, a melting hole will appear, and the boundary of the melting hole will burn and spread, but no open flame will be produced and no dripping will occur. According to China's GB8624 "Classification Method for Combustion Performance of Building Materials", it is classified as Class B1 flame retardant material.
(4) When ETFE membrane material is made into an air film surface with an air isolation layer, it has good thermal insulation performance.
(5) ETFE membrane materials have good chemical stability and corrosion resistance.
(6) The ultimate tensile strength of ETFE membrane material is above 40MPa, and when it is below 20MPa, the membrane material exhibits an elastic state, allowing folding and having good tear resistance.
(7) The weather resistance is excellent, and long-term exposure tests have shown that its mechanical properties have not changed.
(8) The manufacturer's quality assurance period for ETFE membrane materials is 10 years, and the actual service life can exceed 20 years.
(9) The membrane surface is smooth, resistant to dust and dirt erosion, and has good self-cleaning properties in rainwater. In addition, the membrane has good resistance to hail impact toughness.
(10) ETFE film materials can be recycled, reassembled, or melted into granular raw materials after exceeding their service life.
